The invention discloses a small-sized antenna for medium and short wave band ships. It consists of four components: a dielectric layer, a wire layer, a coaxial feeder, and a grounding plate; the wire layer is a planar structure, engraved on the upper surface of the dielectric layer, and consists of a number of curved wire segments connected end to end. Based on two six-order Hilbert fractal structures, the ends of the wires are connected by a short wire; the antenna is installed vertically on the upper surface of the ground plate, and a hole is opened at the geometric center of the ground plate, and the coaxial feeder is connected to the antenna through the hole of the ground plate. Experimental data show that the antenna prototype can work in the medium and short bands of 2-8MHz, and has the characteristics of small size, wide frequency band, low profile, omnidirectional, and suitable for ships. The invention can not only be used in the marine radio navigation system, but can also be extended to other related systems.
