Electrostatic chucks (ESCs) with RF and temperature uniformity are described. For example, an ESC includes a top dielectric layer. An upper metal portion is disposed below the top dielectric layer. A second dielectric layer is disposed above a plurality of pixilated resistive heaters and surrounded in part by the upper metal portion. A third dielectric layer is disposed below the second dielectric layer, with a boundary between the third dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer. A plurality of vias is disposed in the third dielectric layer. A bus power bar distribution layer is disposed below and coupled to the plurality of vias. A fourth dielectric layer is disposed below the bus bar power distribution layer, with a boundary between the fourth dielectric layer and the third dielectric layer. A metal base is disposed below the fourth dielectric layer. The metal base includes a plurality of high power heater elements housed therein.

The present invention minimizes the identification or meta-data which needs to be written to a source database or source repository whenever a label for a new version of source code needs to be created thereby minimizing the file storage requirements and the network bandwidth for the transmission of replications of the label. The virtual label system makes use of attribute data connected to a label object to record identification meta-data associated with a particular snap-shot of the source code, whereby the attribute data is subsequently used for program builds/releases/new branch development without the need to have the meta-data recorded in every component source file.

An intravascular implant delivery system carries an implant by retaining an engagement member engaging the implant in a position proximal of an aperture at a distal end of the delivery system. The engagement member is retained proximal to the aperture by a cord that obstructs the movement of the engagement member through the aperture. The engagement member is free to rotate and move within an area defined by the delivery system, allowing the implant to react to forces imparted to the implant by the movement of the delivery system and implant through a delivery catheter. Once the implant is in a desired implant position, the cord is moved away from an aperture and the engagement member is allowed to move away from the delivery system.

This disclosure provides an integrated and automated sample-to-answer system that, starting from a sample comprising biological material, generates a genetic profile in less than two hours. Certain example embodiments relate to a highly-concurrent, predictable, fast, self-managed, in-process space for storing data that is hidden away from the garbage collector and its related pauses. A mobile device capturing content of a user of a target device may automatically request authorization to use and own the captured content from the target device and user. The mobile device may detect the target device by comparing metadata associated with the captured content with device information of a target device. Alternatively, the capture device may communicate with a server to facilitate the authorization request process. The capture device may further establish a piconet with one or more intermediate wireless devices to detect and request authorization from a target device outside of the capture device's wireless range. Tokens may further be implemented to reduce transmission and processing times of various communication information including authorization requests and content files.

An image scanning apparatus and a torsion oscillator are capable of operating across a dynamic range of possible operating frequencies. The image scanning apparatus uses a light source to produce a light bean, and the oscillator scans the light beam through a scanning pattern. The oscillator includes a plate member having a non-rectangular shape. At least one magnet is disposed on the plate. A surface of the plate member includes a reflective surface for reflecting a light beam. A frame is disposed in a spaced apart relation to a lower surface of the plate member. The fame includes at least one coil configured to induce an electromagnetic force on the at least one magnet to thereby oscillate the reflective surface to a rotational angle of oscillation at an oscillation frequency. The system also includes an imaging surface disposed in the path of the scanning pattern so that the light beam scans across the imaging surface, and a mechanical drive to move the imaging surface. A control system controls electric current provided to the at least one coil to achieve the oscillation.

There is disclosed a method and apparatus for detection of client trails which may become unsupported due to reconfiguration of node elements within a network at a server layer, and a rerouting apparatus and method for proposing a set of alternative routes to support client trails during reconfiguration of a network at a physical layer. Data describing each trail, connection, node, link and other physical resource is maintained in a managed object database on a network controller. A trail detection algorithm investigates trail termination points corresponding to proposed deleted or created trails to see if those termination points support client trails at higher layers. If supported client trails are detected at higher layers, a routing algorithm is applied to find a set of alternative routes over which the client layer trails may be rerouted during network configuration at the physical or server layer.

According to various aspects and examples described herein, systems and methods for uploading/transferring files are provided. In one aspect, an upload manager is provided, the upload manager for coordinating a transfer of an image file to a remote location. In one example, the upload manger includes logic for creating a reduced size image file associated with the image file, the reduced size image file having a smaller data size than the image file, initiating a transfer of the reduced size image file to the remote location, and initiating a transfer of the image file to the remote location subsequent to initiating the transfer of the reduced size image file. Transferring a reduced size image file (e.g., a thumbnailed version) may allow for relatively fast transfer and access times of the reduced size file compared to the full size version image file.

The present invention relates to composite structured adsorbents and methods of use therefor. The invention more particularly relates to composite structured adsorbents that can include a multi-channel framework (e.g., monoliths), the channels of the multi-channel framework containing adsorbent beads particles therein, with a channel-to-particle diameter ratio in the range of 1 to 10, more preferably 1 to 7 and even more preferably 1 to 5. In the case of non-spherical particles, the hydraulic diameter is used in the calculation of the channel-to-particle diameter. The composite structured adsorbents of the present invention can be used in various industrial applications, for example in pressure swing adsorption (PSA) or vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) processes to produce O₂ from air.

A semiconductor memory device is provided as well as a method for operating the semiconductor memory device. The memory device includes a NOR array of memory cells and a NAND array of memory cells configured on the same monolithic semiconductor substrate. Each cell of the NOR array involves a single transistor, similar to each cell of the NAND array. The memory device is, therefore, an integrated circuit that includes not only the NOR and NAND arrays, but also the row and column decoders corresponding to each array. Furthermore, the integrated circuit includes the interface circuitry needed to transfer information as pages into and from the NAND array. The corresponding interface or controller is implemented on the same monolithic substrate as both the NAND array and the NOR array. Addresses targeted for the NOR array are sent as fully memory-mapped data into the NOR array, whereas addresses targeted for the NAND array are sent through the controller integrated within the semiconductor memory device. The single transistor cell of both the NAND array and NOR array preferably involves a flash EEPROM-type transistor that implements a floating gate dielectrically spaced between a control gate and the semiconductor substrate.

A large scale LED display system (12) is provided on a building structure (100). The system has a screen (12) formed of a number of side by side display panels (14) which may be foldable or rollable. Each panel has a number of equally spaced transparent polycarbonate tubes (80) which house pixel units (50) of LEDs (51) connected to printed circuit board (120) and a row controller (121) for controlling luminance of the LEDs. During fast resume time periods, transitions to the hibernate state are limited so that recovery to an operational states has the reduced resume time associated with the standby state. The fast resume time periods are set by user preference or automatically set by monitoring end user interactions with the information handling system to predict fast resume times appropriate for the end user. In one embodiment, a power manager automatically transitions the information handling system from the hibernate state to a standby state a predetermined time period before a fast resume period begins.

Tip directed gas further controls the tip-tissue interface by displacing blood or serum from the incision point, increasing precision and diminishing coagulum build-up. In the alternative, cooling fluid may be used to quench tissue being treated.
