The invention discloses a lightweight medium for promoting growth of keteleeria cyclolepis seedlings. The preparing process of the lightweight medium includes the steps that firstly, a basic substrate is prepared; according to the volume ratio, 35%-40% of humic
topsoil, 40%-45% of mature coco
coir, 5%-10% of
mushroom residues and 10%-15% of
perlite are mixed and stirred evenly, drenching and disinfection are conducted through a
potassium permanganate solution with the concentration being 0.5%, and the mixture is spread after 24 hours and aired for 5 days to 7 days; secondly, functional
bacteria compounding is conducted; a composite
microbial agent and the basic substrate are mixed according to the
mass ratio of 1:1000, stacking is conducted after a small amount of water is poured, stacking body overturning is conducted once after the temperature in a stacking body reaches 40 DEG C to 45 DEG C and is maintained for 10 days, and then the lightweight medium is obtained after
fermentation is conducted for 10 days. The lightweight medium is good in physical behavior and
nutrient performance, nutrients of the substrate are utilized more efficiently through the compounded functional
bacteria, the lightweight medium is low in carbon and
environmentally friendly, and the cost is saved. According to the keteleeria cyclolepis container seedlings cultured through the lightweight medium, the
survival rate of nursery stocks reaches over 93.5%, the total
biomass of the nursery stocks is increased by over 33.0%, the
root shoot ratio is adjusted, the number of lateral roots is increased, the nursery stocks are robust, terminal buds are full, the woodiness level is high, and the quality of the nursery stocks is improved remarkably when outplanting is conducted.
