The invention discloses a device and a method for detecting
gas concentration on the basis of ultrasonic principles. The device comprises a device body, a
single chip microcomputer unit, a temperaturemeasuring circuit, a pressure measuring circuit, a
motor control circuit, a
driving circuit, a switch circuit, a
signal amplification circuit, a time measuring circuit, a
peak value detection circuitand ultrasonic transducers. The device and the method for detecting the
gas concentration on the basis of the ultrasonic principles have the advantages that echo signals of two frequency points can be measured by two pairs of mounted ultrasonic transducers by the aid of certain designs, peak values of the echo signals further can be obtained by the aid of certain circuit designs, sound absorptioncoefficients of gas and sound velocities can be obtained by means of certain calculation, the maximum sound absorption values and relaxation frequencies can be obtained by means of further calculation, mathematical models built in early experiments are applied, the current
gas concentration can be obtained by the aid of internal table lookup and interpolation processes for
single chip microcomputers, accordingly, measuring processes are simple and convenient, and the device and the method are practical.
