In one embodiment of the present invention, a programmable system on a chip (PSoC) boot file generation method is utilized to create a boot file. A boot template file is created comprising special symbolic variable names that point to configuration registers within a programmable system on a chip (PSoC). User module selections are received with delineation of preferred configurations and functions associated with components of said programmable system on a chip (PSoC). Application files are automatically generated based upon user selections of PSoC configurations and functions. The special symbolic variable names are substituted or replaced with actual configuration register names. The detection terminal comprises a power supply; the power supply is connected with a signal processing circuit, a PSoC single-chip microcomputer, an XBee-Pro module, a display circuit, an alarm circuit and a plurality of NDIR gas sensors; the PSoC single-chip microcomputer is equipped with an AD converter; the NDIR gas sensors convert a variety of poisonous gas into electric signals and transmit the electric signals to the PSoC single-chip microcomputer via th signal processing circuit; information displaying and alarming are realized via the display circuit and the alarm circuit; the PSoC single-chip microcomputer is in wireless communication with the XBee-Pro module; and an on-chip hardware circuit is arranged in the PSoC single-chip microcomputer and is provided with two operational amplifiers, two twelve-bit A / D converters, a timer, an UART communication interface and one PWM module. The detection terminal can complete detection of a plurality of poisonous gases, prevents workers from poisoning in a working place and has the characteristics of convenience in debugging, low power dissipation, high sensitivity, safety, reliability, long service life, etc.
