The invention discloses a
dSPACE based test method for a
wind power converter controller, and relates to test methods for
wind power converter controllers. According to the method,
dSPACE is configured to be a controlled object such as a
wind power converter, a
power grid, a power generator or the like, and the controlled object is connected with the converter controller through an interface circuit, so that hardware and
software of the wind power converter controller are tested. The test method belongs to semi-physical
simulation; compared with pure
simulation, the controller is a product-level controller, so that the test method can test a
control algorithm and the hardware of the controller as well as a control code; and compared with a field test, the test method conveniently performs various limit tests such as tests of phase failure,
short circuit and the like possibly causing damage to the converter, and tests with relatively high test expenses or difficultly established test conditions, such as a
low voltage ride through test, a
high voltage ride through test, a
power grid adaptability test and the like. The test method is suitable for testing the
software and the hardware of the wind power converter controller.
