Bromine number is the amount of bromine in grams absorbed by 100 grams (3.5 oz) of a sample. The number indicates the degree of unsaturation. The Bromine Number is useful as a measure of aliphatic unsaturation in gasoline samples. The California ARB, in its Motor Vehicle Fuels Compliance Assistance Program, indicated that every unit of Bromine Number is equivalent to twice the percentage point of olefin content in gasoline. So, a gasoline with Bromine Number 30 would have an olefin content of not more than 15 vol%. The invention provides a light aromatic hydrocarbon hydrogenation pre-hydrogenation process, wherein the process includes the following steps: a deweighted product oil after deweighting comes from a tank area, is pressurized to 2.1 MPa by a hydrogenation feed pump and is mixed with a pre-hydrogenation reaction circulating liquid and new hydrogen, then the mixture enters an inlet distributor of thebottom of a pre-hydrogenation reactor, and then passes through a catalyst bed layer from bottom to top; selective hydrogenation reaction of diene, styrene and a small amount of monoolefins is preformed; a liquid phase circulating material extracted from the side face of the pre-hydrogenation reactor is pressurized by a pre-hydrogenation circulating pump, is cooled by a pre-hydrogenation circulating cooler, is mixed with new hydrogen and raw materials, enters an inlet of the pre-hydrogenation reactor again, is circulated, is discharged from the top of the pre-hydrogenation reactor and is subjected to main hydrogenation reaction. Through the process, the olefin content of the pre-hydrogenated oil product of the process is obviously reduced, the bromine number is also obviously reduced, coking of the main hydrogenation reaction is effectively prevented, the main hydrogenation reaction with high catalytic activity is completed, and the operation cycle of the device is long.
