According to the skin material disclosed by the invention, a multiple membrane compounding process is employed, which is simple and capable of realizing excellent fit of membrane and membrane as well as membrane and cloth. The produced skin material is light in weight and high in strength, and also high in helium barrier property; the areal density of the skin material is only 144g / m<2>; therefore, the weather resistance and high-altitude service life of the high-altitude aerostat can be well improved.
