The invention relates to a full-automatic on-line
monitoring system of COD and a monitoring method thereof. The
monitoring system comprises a monitoring control device, and an electric
injector, an optical quantifying device, a multi-pass adapter and a reaction tank that are in connection with the monitoring control device. Ventilation pipes are positioned between the electric
injector and the optical quantifying device, and between the optical quantifying device and the reaction tank for connection. The multi-pass adapter is connected to the optical quantifying device, the reaction tank, an input
pipe for a solution to be monitored,
standard solution input pipes, a blank solution input
pipe, a deionized water input
pipe and a waste liquid
discharge pipe. The inside of the reaction tank is provided with a
working electrode, an
auxiliary electrode and a
reference electrode that are connected by leads and the monitoring control device. The monitoring method consists of: measuring the current change values of standard solutions of different concentrations, making a
standard curve delta Ic-C by the monitoring control device automatically, measuring the current change value
delta Ix ofthe solution to be monitored, seeking out and displaying a corresponding COD value from the
standard curve by the monitoring control device. The
system and method provided in the invention are characterized by accurate measuring, no
pollution and high intelligent degree.
