The invention belongs to the technical field of
nuclear fuel back end
processing, and particularly relates to an off-line device used for spent fuel transporting
cask helium purification and cooling. The device comprises a
water level controller, a precooler, a gas-water separator, a filter, a
molecular sieve and an
activated carbon bed; one downstream path of the
water level controller is connected to a
pool, and the other path is connected with the precooler through a valve; the lower
stream of the precooler is connected with the gas-water separator; one downstream path of the
water level controller drains separated water to the
pool, and the other path is connected to the
molecular sieve through the filter; the lower
stream of the
molecular sieve is connected with the
activated carbon bed; paths connected with a purifying trolley are all arranged at the lower streams of the filter, the molecular
sieve and the
activated carbon bed. According to the device, on the one hand,
helium ina
cask can be cooled to 35 DEG C from 200 DEG C, on the other hand, the
helium can be purified, and the radioactive emission requirements are met.
