The invention relates to a warping apparatus, which comprises a stander, a cylinder rack, an expansion reed, a first driving apparatus for driving the rotation of the warping shaft. The warping shaft comprises a shaft body, a first and a second baffle plate disposed on two terminals of the shaft body. The warping shaft further comprises at least one partition plate disposed between the first and the second baffle plate. The warping apparatus further comprises a second driving device for driving the warping shaft to move along the axis line. According to the invention, the warping shaft is divided into a plurality of sections by mounting partition plates onto the warping shaft in prior art, then the warping shaft is driven to move in the direction of axis by the action of the second driving device, so that the breadth of the warping shaft corresponds to the number of the bobbin yarns, and the problem of warping incapability due to few number the bobbin yarns is solved; furthermore, the invention is simple in structure, low in cost, suitable for warping of the yarns during hand sample manufacturing for development, beneficial for lowering raw material cost.
