The pre-stressed steel strand buttress system comprises six or eight buttresses, a plurality of circumferential pre-stressed steel strand beams and a plurality of vertical pre-stressed steel strand beams, wherein the buttresses are arranged outside the wall of the super-large type LNG full-capacity storage tank; the circumferential pre-stressed steel strand beams and the vertical pre-stressed steel strand beams are laid in the wall of the super-large type LNG full-capacity storage tank; two ends of the circumferential pre-stressed steel strand beams are respectively and fixedly arranged on anchorage devices on two ends, along the peripheral direction of the super-large type LNG full-capacity storage tank, of the buttresses; two ends of the vertical pre-stressed steel strand beams are respectively and fixedly arranged on anchorage devices on the top end and the bottom end outside the super-large type LNG full-capacity storage tank. By applying the system, the difficult problem of arranging a large number of pre-stressed steel strand beams of a conventional large LNG full-capacity storage tank under conditions of super-large tank type, extreme earthquake force and quite adverse geology is solved; the design requirements under various adverse conditions are met, so that the construction of the super-large type LNG full-capacity storage tank under a vast majority of site conditions is realized; therefore the system is an LNG full-capacity storage tank building technique having the characteristics of flexibility and intensiveness.
