The invention provides a multi-direction flow gravitational
settling apparatus for a
recirculating aquaculture system. The cavity of a vertically arranged
barrel-shaped water passing container is divided into an upper straight
barrel-shaped
settling chamber and a lower inverted cone-shaped
sewage collecting chamber by a separator plate horizontally arranged in the water passing container; the upper end of the water passing container is an open end, and the end part of the upper end is embedded into a water collecting tank with an upwardly opened opening; the lower end of a 7-shaped water inlet
pipe extends downwardly to penetrate the bottom of the water collecting tank, and the upper end of the 7-shaped water inlet
pipe extends into the upper part of the
settling chamber to communicate with the upper end of a vertical water distribution
pipe; the port of the lower end of the water distribution pipe extends into a central through hole of the porous separator plate; an inclined tube filling material is filled in the part of the
settling chamber below a water outlet end of the water inlet pipe; a
sewage outlet is arranged at a cone bottom of the
sewage collecting chamber; and the sewage outlet is movably covered with a water distributing cone, and the conical tip of the water distributing cone just faces the port of the lower end of the water distributing pipe. The apparatus provided by the invention has a simple structure, a compact shape, great water treating capacity, short
hydraulic retention time and a substantial treating effect, is convenient to apply and can be popularized as equipment.
