The seven-degree-of-freedom external skeleton type teleoperation main hand is composed of an external skeleton main hand portion, a driving unit and a support. The external skeleton main hand portion comprises an arm wearing portion and a singular configuration adjusting unit. The arm wearing portion is worn on the upper limb of an operator; the singular configuration adjusting unit provides rotation in two directions; the singular configuration of the adjustable external skeleton main hand can be carried out on the edge of working space; the driving unit is composed of motors, harmonic reducers, encoders, torque transducers, transmission wheels and the like; power is transmitted through steel wire ropes; and the weight of the arm part is greatly reduced. The support is used for fixing the external skeleton main hand portion and the driving unit and can achieve height adjustment and gravity balance of the arm. The seven-degree-of-freedom external skeleton type teleoperation main hand is flexible in operation and good in applicability; the arm part is compact in structure, low in inertia and not prone to fatiguing after long-time operation. Enhanced multiple kill vehicle (MKV) interceptor for intercepting exo and endo-atmospheric targets

By sharing tasks between the CV and the KVs, the MKV interceptor provides a cost-effective missile defense system capable of intercepting and killing multiple targets. The placement of the acquisition and discrimination sensor and control sensor on the CV to provide target acquisition and discrimination and mid-course guidance for all the KVs avoids the weight and complexity issues associated with trying to “miniaturize” unitary interceptors. The placement of either a short-band imaging sensor and headlamp or a MWIR sensor on each KV overcomes the latency, resolution and bandwidth problems associated with command guidance systems and allows each KV to precisely select a desirable aimpoint and maintain track on that aimpoint to impact. An implicit divert and attitude control system (DACS) using tow or more divert thrusters performs KV divert and attitude maneuvers to respond to the command guidance pre-handover and to maintain track on the aimpoint to terminal intercept post-handover.

Video error concealment mechanism for block based video decompression

Embodiments of the present invention provide methods and apparatus for decoding digital video or motion picture signals with error concealment to prevent or minimize degradation of the picture quality. When corruption occurs, the method determines whether error concealment is needed according to a preset criterion. If so, motion vectors for the corrupt region are calculated using the motion vectors and rates of change of motion of current blocks in the current frame and / or old blocks in a previous frame according to a best matching block selection process. The method also determines if the “time” relative motion of content is small by defining a percentage use parameter. In some cases, once the error concealment is complete, the “weight” or visual sensitivity of the restored block is decreased in order to reduce boundary artifact effects. This is accomplished by a quantization mask employing the human visual system (HVS) concept.
