Operating Fuel Cell During Down Time on Cryogenic Hydrogen Boil-Off

A fuel cell power plant (9) includes a stack (10) of fuel cells, each including anode (11), cathodes (12), coolant channels (13) and either (a) a coolant accumulator (60) and pump (61) or (b) a condenser and cooler fan. During shutdown, electricity generated in the fuel cell in response to boil-off hydrogen gas (18) powers a controller (20), an air pump (52), which may increase air utilization to prevent cell voltages over 0.85V during shutdown, and either (a) the coolant pump or (b) the cooler fan. Operation of the fuel cell keeps it warm; circulating the warm coolant prevents freezing of coolant and plumbing. The effluent of the cathodes and / or anodes is provided to a catalytic burner (48) to consume all hydrogen before exhaust to ambient. An HVAC in a compartment of a vehicle may operate using electricity from the fuel cell during boil-off.

Lead frame automatic chip loading machine

The invention discloses a lead frame automatic chip loading machine. The key points of the technical scheme are that the lead frame automatic chip loading machine comprises a rack and a material loading device, a track conveying device, a welding device and an automatic chip loading device which are arranged on the rack in turn. The track conveying device comprises conveying tracks which are connected between the material loading device and the automatic chip loading device, a cover shell which closely covers on the conveying tracks and a push mechanism which is used for pushing a lead frame along the conveying tracks to the automatic chip loading device from the material loading device. The upper surface of the cover shell is provided with material feeding grooves and a welding groove which are communicated with the internal part of the cover shell. The material feeding grooves are arranged along the conveying direction of the lead frame and can be stretched into by the push mechanism to push the lead frame. The welding groove is arranged below the welding device and can be used for the welding device to perform welding operation. A segment of conveying tracks arranged in front of the welding device is provided with a heating plate and a gas supply device used for providing protective gas to the inside of the cover shell. Loss of heat can be reduced by the cover shell, and the protective gas is inflated and then heating oxidation of the lead frame can be reduced.

Conditioned-air baby stroller

Keeping an infant comfortable and well ventilated when out for a stroll with mommy is the intent of this invention. A conditioned-air baby stroller keeps an infant comfortable while pushed by its caretaker. The working components of the heating and cooling apparatus are easily attachable by Velcro® or other attachment means to the baby carriage. Reliable electrical power is assured by a small electrical generator mechanically rotated when the childcare provider pushes the four-wheeled carriage. The generator provides heated or cooled air for the baby's comfort, electrically powering fan assemblies, easily mounted inside the canopy in a flow direction desired by the caretaker. Each fan assembly comprises a housing, a blower fan and motor, and heating element disposed in the housing and protected from accidental contact by a protective screen. An optional battery, kept charged by the electrical generator, continues to provide electric power if the caretaker stops the carriage. By applying electrical power from the generator to the heating element the infant is kept warm in cold weather. In hot weather the air intake side of each fan housing allows insertion of a refrigerated cold pack for increased infant comfort. Desired heating and cooling conditions are selected by activation of selection buttons fixedly securable by a clamp mechanism is to the handle of the baby stroller. An optional snap-on cover provides a microenvironment for the infant in times of temperature extremes.

To provide an air conditioner carrying out defrosting operation while continuing heating operation. This air conditioner comprises a first bypass circuit connecting the suction side of a compressor between an indoor heat exchanger and a decompressor of a heat pump type refrigeration cycle, the first bypass circuit including a two-way valve and a refrigerant heater; and a second bypass circuit connecting a part between a four-way valve connected to the refrigeration cycle and the indoor heat exchanger to a part between the decompressor and an outdoor heat exchanger, the second bypass circuit is provided with two-way valve. When defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger is performed, the two-way valve of the first bypass circuit and the two-way valve of the second bypass circuit are opened to guide current to the refrigerant heater for heat storage prior to the defrosting operation, and the defrosting operation is performed while continuing heating.

Aspects of the invention can provide an imaging device that can include a first optical element having a first focal length, and a second optical element having a variable second focal length. The second optical element can be located at a fixed first distance of approximately the first focal length away from the first optical element. Thus, such an imaging device can permit an optical system to focus on an object at various distances and at a constant magnification with no moving parts.
