The most recently requested documents, however, are stored in the cache memory with strong references associated therewith thereby precluding them from being reclaimed until such time as the strong reference is abolished. The strong reference is abolished when the document identifier associated with the document stored in the cache memory is not present in the document stack. Therefor, only the most recently requested documents remain stored in the cache memory depending upon the depth of the document stack.

The method comprises the steps of loading a target resource to a device memory, wherein the target resource is subjected to strong reference by a system; if it is detected that the target resource meets a preset removal condition, removing the strong reference of the system to the target resource; and when it is detected that the device memory meets a preset recovery condition, recovering a memory space occupied by a resource not subjected to strong reference by the system in the device memory. According to the method, the apparatus and the electronic device, the system can be always in a full memory state, so that the loading efficiency is improved, the running speed of the system is increased, and the user experience is improved.
