The wall of the metal tube gradually becomes thin with the depth of the corrosion degree of the metal tube, so the compressed degree of the metal tube gradually increases, and the grating period of the fiber grating gradually decreases, thereby the center wavelength of the fiber grating gradually deflects. The strain response characteristic of the fiber grating sensor is combined to monitor the corrosion degree of the metal material.
