A detector circuit for determining whether synchronization lock has been optimally achieved in feedback-type control systems. The detector circuit evaluates an error signal developed by a phase/frequency detector and compares the absolute magnitude of the error signal to a first threshold signal corresponding to a magnitude metric. When the value of the error signal is less than the magnitude threshold value, an event signal initiates a time interval counter which continues counting so long as the error signal remains below the magnitude threshold value. The time interval counter continues until it counts to a second threshold value corresponding to a timing metric. At this point, synchronization lock is declared.

The present invention provides a drum type washing machine capable of adequately distributing the laundry articles along the inner circumferential wall of the drum at the start-up of the dehydrating operation with high probability, thereby reducing the start-up time of the dehydration. In an embodiment of the present invention, the drum is controlled to rotate at a constant speed 50 r.p.m. to agitate the laundry articles (Step S12), and the drum speed is almost continuously monitored. If a sudden change in the speed has been detected within a short period of time that is less than 36 milliseconds (Step S22), the laundry articles are tangled in a mass form. Therefore, the rotating direction of the drum is reversed, and the agitating direction is restarted in the opposite direction (Step S21).

One embodiment of the present invention includes a frequency generation circuit including a control module, an oscillator circuit coupled to the control module, the oscillator circuit having a start-up time defined by the time required to reach a desired frequency. An exemplary fast start-up crystal oscillator with reduced start-up time. The exemplary oscillator reduces the start-up time (i.e., the time taken to attain sustained stable oscillations after the power is turned on) by increasing the negative resistance of a circuit. Increasing the negative resistance increases the rate of growth of the oscillations, thereby reducing start-up time. The exemplary crystal oscillator includes a gain stage with negative resistance. A crystal with shunt capacitance is placed in the feedback loop of the gain stage. A buffer is coupled to the gain stage such that it blocks the crystal shunt capacitance from loading the gain stage, effectively increasing the negative resistance of the gain stage. Further, an oscillation detection and control circuit is coupled between the crystal and the gain stage. The oscillation detection and control circuit connects the buffer during start-up, and disconnects the buffer once an oscillation signal attains sustained stable oscillations.

The invention discloses a soft start method of an LLC resonant converter. The LLC resonant converter comprises a bridge-type switching circuit, a resonance circuit, a transformer, a rectifying circuit and a filtering circuit which are all connected in sequence, wherein the resonance circuit is composed of a resonant inductor and a resonant capacitor connected in series. According to the method, the initialized duty ratio of a driving signal is D0, and the initialized driving frequency is f0, wherein the value of the D0 ranges from 0 to 15 percent, the value of the f0 ranges from 1.5fr to 2.5fr, and the fr is the resonant frequency. The duty ratio of the driving signal and the driving frequency respectively increase and decrease linearly along with time or respectively increase and decrease exponentially along with time, so that while the duty ratio of the driving signal increases to 50 percent, the driving frequency decreases to the resonance frequency fr, and soft start of the LLC resonant converter is achieved. Through the method, impact current occurring in the start process of the resonant circuit can be restrained, the start time is short, a driving circuit is easy to obtain, and cost is low.

The present invention includes devices and methods for reducing the start-up time of osmotically driven drug delivery systems capable of delivering a desired drug at a controlled rate over time. In particular, the present invention includes osmotic pumps that have a preloaded membrane, which includes a semipermeable material that has been preloaded with a nonaqueous, incompressible liquid filler that is miscible with water. The invention relates to the technical field of control over air conditioners, in particular to a control method and control device for the air conditioners. The control method for the air conditioners comprises the steps: setting an initial rotary speed of an outdoor fan according to an outdoor environmental temperature when the air conditioner enters a heating mode; obtaining the temperature of an indoor heat exchanger and comparing with a first preset temperature value and a second preset temperature value; if the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger is larger than the first preset temperature value, reducing the rotary speed of the outdoor fan; if the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger is not larger than the first preset temperature value and not smaller than the second preset temperature value, then keeping the current rotary speed of the outdoor fan; and if the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger is smaller than the second preset temperature value, then increasing the rotary speed of the outdoor fan. The problem that the rotary speed of the fan cannot be automatically adjusted according to different air conditioner operation environments is solved, the fan can save energy when operating at a relatively lower rotary speed, the noise of an outdoor unit is also reduced, an air conditioner system is more stable in operation, shutdown and starting up times of the outdoor fan are reduced, and the use comfortableness of a user is improved.

The invention discloses an electric power tool controlling the rotation of a dc motor as a power supply on basis of an operation amount of a trigger switch capable of suppressing a starting current flowed when the motor drive is started. A driving duty ratio for PWM controlling the dc motor is set a starting duty ratio from the time of operating the trigger switch (t0) till the operation duration time (an on time) reaches 20ms (t1), then the dc motor is started. The result is that the dc motor is increased in a stepwise manner during the period from the driving on until the start-up time (40ms) capable of suppressing the driving current and preventing the power voltage from descending.

A circuit that efficiently prevents the turning on of the synchronous rectifier in a buck converter during a predetermined condition, so as to prevent current reversing through the synchronous rectifier during that time. In one embodiment, the circuit provides control of the synchronous rectifier during the soft-start time for a non-isolated DC-DC buck converter, thereby preventing current reversing (sinking), referred to as the back bias condition, during its soft start process. In another embodiment, a circuit uses a signal indicative of a soft-start condition for a converter to prevent the turning on of the synchronous rectifier during the soft-start time.
