A Cetane Improver [′sē‚tān im′prüv·ər] is a chemical which has the effect of increasing a diesel fuel's Cetane number. A few examples are nitrates, nitroalkanes, nitrocarbonates and peroxides. One of the main Cetane Improver additives manufactured today is 2-ethylhexyl nitrate (CAS n°: 27247-96-7) which starts to decompose at 130 °C. 2-ethylhexyl nitrate is the result of the reaction of 2-ethylhexanol and nitric acid.

This invention relates to an emulsified water-blended fuel composition comprising: (A) a hydrocarbon boiling in the gasoline or diesel range; (B) water; (C) a minor emulsifying amount of at least one fuel-soluble salt made by reacting (C)(I) at least one acylating agent having about 16 to 500 carbon atoms with (C)(II) ammonia and / or at least one amine; and (D) about 0.001 to about 15% by weight of the water-blended fuel composition of a water soluble, ashless, halogen-, boron-, and phosphorus-free, amine salt, distinct from component (C). In one embodiment, the composition further comprises (E) at least one cosurfactant distinct from component (C); in one embodiment, (F) at least one organic cetane improver; and in one embodiment, (G) at least one antifreeze. The invention also relates to a method for fueling an internal combustion engine comprising fueling said engine with the composition of the present invention.

The compression ignition engine automobile exhaust cleaning agent disclosed by the invention has favorable comprehensive performance on the aspects such as oil solubility, stability, detergency and dispersibility, dynamic property, lubricating property, corrosion resistance, environment-friendly regeneration property, catalytic synchronous combustibility and the like, and is convenient to use, good in economical efficiency, easy to apply in production and wide in market prospect.

Method for producing diesel by hydrogenating anthrancene oil

The invention belongs to the technical field of coal chemical industry, particularly relating to a method for producing diesel by hydrogenating anthrancene oil. The diesel produced by the method of the invention has high cetane number, which meets a national standard. The method of the invention is as follows: A, the anthrancene oil, light distillate oil and heavy absorber oil are mixed to obtain mixed oil; B, the mixed oil and hydrogen are mixed and reacted for pre-hydrogenation; C, the hydrogen is supplemented to the pre-hydrogenated product in step B and then the hydrogenation is carried out again, the unreacted hydrogen is separated from reaction effluent, and the separation of oil-water-gas is carried out to obtain oil liquid; D, the oil liquid in step C is rectified to obtain diesel fraction; E, the diesel fraction is mixed with the hydrogen and then enters an upgrading reactor to react, the unreacted hydrogen is separated from the reaction effluent, and the separation of oil-water-gas is carried out again to obtain upgraded diesel; and F, a cetane number improver is added in the upgraded diesel to obtain the diesel. By using the method, the jam of a pipeline caused by anthrancene oil crystals can be avoided, thereby prolonging the service life of a catalyst; and the prepared product meets national standard requirements.
