system, mainly comprising the following steps: large
ORACLE database software is used for managing
engineering data; COM components are used on a platform of CATIAV5R16 and the developing environment and an interface provided by VC6.0++ and CATIA are used for developing systematic modules for
engineering management, fixture design, duct design, designing tools, two-dimensional
engineering drawing,
database management, and the like to create a virtually assembled three-dimensional
welding fixture. According to the
welding characteristics of part ducts of products, auxiliary fuel tanks, and the like, the method utilizes techniques of three-dimensional digital digifax, visible space digital virtual
assembly, fixture rigidity calculation, interference
simulation of loading space for welding parts, fixture
structure analysis, and the like to improve the efficiency and the quality for the welding fixture design and weak links of frock digital design. Compared with conventional CATIA design, the efficiency is improved by about 60 percent, the design quality of the welding frock can be greatly improved simultaneously, and the
repair rate of the welding frock is reduced by about 70 percent.
