A method for a monitoring apparatus using a radar and a camera to detect an object. The radar and the camera each have its own detection area and the method is for detecting and correcting the displacement of each detection area by using a single target having dark and bright parts formed in a specified pattern on its surface and placing it in front of the apparatus where the two detection areas overlap. The direction and orientation of the detection area of the radar are measured and corrected and then the detection area of the camera is corrected. The pattern includes an elongated dark part flanked by a pair of bright parts such that quantity of reflected light obtained by scanning the detection surface has a distribution with waveform having two peaks and a valley in between and corrections on the detection areas are made by analyzing their positions.

Substrate is composed of a monocrystal which may be removed after fabrication. Remaining layers are composed of group III-V nitrides, including binary, ternary, and quaternary compositions. Alternate embodiments of the present invention include a doped binary alloy along first and second conductive layers, a binary alloy along buffer and blocking layers, and alternating alloys of binary, ternary and quaternary compositions within the multiple quantum well. The present invention responds to infrared light at normal and oblique incidences, from near infrared to very far infrared.

The present invention addresses the need to improve the yield of adenovirus when grown in cell culture systems. In particular, it has been demonstrated that for adenovirus, the use of infection temperatures lower than 37° C. in a cell culture system results in improved yields of adenovirus. In addition, it has been demonstrated that when host cells are grow in a bioreactor, initiating adenovirus infection by diluting the host cells with fresh media and adenovirus results in improved yield of adenovirus. Methods of adenoviral production and purification using infection temperatures less than 37° C. are disclosed. Methods of adenoviral production and purification wherein the host cells are grown in a bioreactor and adenovirus infection is initiated by diluting the host cells with fresh media and adenovirus are also disclosed.

The invention relates to a new preparation technology of compound salvia tablets, comprising the steps that: (1) the salvia is taken and is put in a flash extractor together with ethanol, extracted for 5 to 20 minutes, and then centrifugated, filtered, the filtered liquid is decompressed to recycle the ethanol for spare; (2) the residue as well as water are put into the flash extractor and extracted for 5 to 20 minutes, centrifugated, and the extracted liquid is concentrated to clear plaster with a relative density of 1.02 to 1.12 (60 DEG C), the salvia fine powder is obtained by spraying and drying; (3) the super micro-powder of notoginseng is obtained by the super-micro pulverization of the notoginseng; (4) grains are made by the filtered liquid after the ethanol is recycled in the step (1), the salvia fine powder in the step (2) and the super micro-powder of the notoginseng in the step (3) as well as supplementary materials and dried, the borneol is ground finely and evenly mixed with the grains, pressed into pill and packed. The salvia extraction procedure provided by the invention adopts a historrhexis technology without heating, the active ingredient content in the obtained salvia tablets is remarkably increased; the notoginseng is finely crushed into super-micro powder in order to favor the absorption of the active ingredient. The treatment effect is great and the energy consumption is low.
