The invention discloses a
formaldehyde-removing
coating and a preparation method thereof. The
coating is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 18.35 to 21.25 parts of deionized water, 8.3 to 12.5 parts of
calcium carbonate, 15.3 to 30.6 parts of diatomite, 10.1 to 20.4 parts of toned
titanium dioxide, 0.8 to 1.2 parts of an anti-freezing and thawing stabilizer, 0.2 to 0.6 partof a defoaming agent, 0.08 to 0.4 part of a
silicone matrix conditioner, 0.9 to 4.5 parts of
rheology modifier, 25.1 to 36.6 parts of special
emulsion for self-crosslinking and 0.8 to 1.9 parts of rest components; the special
emulsion for self-crosslinking is prepared from pure
acrylic acid and a reactant for reacting with
formaldehyde, wherein the mixing weight ratio of the pure
acrylic acid tothe reactant is (2.72 to 3.92) : 1; the rest components include a dispersing agent, a
wetting agent and a bactericide. The
formaldehyde-removing
coating disclosed by the invention has an effect of effectively absorbing and decomposing formaldehyde.
