The method provides a method for measuring a volume of dairy cow
mammary tissue. The method includes the following steps of placing two shooting devices at a plurality of preset positions on two sides of a fence respectively, calibrating the shooting devices, collecting images as original images, acquiring a dairy cow breast image, constructing a three-dimensional description of a
breast shape, calculating an upper bound depth and a lower bound depth of a
mammary tissue distribution area of each breast area, acquiring three-dimensional coordinates of upper and lower bounds of the
mammary tissue distribution area in a normal vector direction of an external three-dimensional
point cloud, constituting inside and outside three-dimensional descriptions of the cow mammary
tissue distribution area, acquiring the ratio of mammary tissue in an
ultrasound image of each breast area, and calculating an actual volume of the mammary tissue of each breast area. According to the method for measuring the volume of the dairy cow mammary tissue, a cow breast three-dimensional model is constructed by means of a
computer vision technology, measurement of the appearance
assessment index data and volume is performed, internal
tissue distribution of organs are analyzed through the
ultrasound image, and real-time measurement of a proportional relation of the internal
tissue distribution of cow breasts is performed.
