The invention discloses a method for burying birth control seedlings in sympodial bamboo. The method comprises the following steps: (1) selection and
soil preparation of a nursery field: deep plowing, leveling, setting a
seedling bed as a
ridge, disinfection treatment and sprinkling profoundly water; (2) selection of a bamboo
seedling section: hewing down new bamboo, taking bamboo sections, and wrapping bamboo sections to obtain
seedling bamboo sections; (3) earlier stage
processing of the seedling bamboo sections: before seedling, drilling holes in the middle parts of the seedling bamboo sections, injecting a
growth hormone solution, and sealing the holes; (4) seedling: forming a planting
ditch in a seedling
bed, enabling the
drill holes of the bamboo sections to be upward, putting the bamboo sections into the planting
ditch, earthing, compacting, sprinkling profoundly water, and
coating the seedling
bed with a film; (5) nursery field management: after bamboo seedlings come up out ofthe ground, opening the film at
sprouting positions, watering and maintaining soil to be wetted; setting a shading net; clearing the film, and seeding; bagging for preventing
frostbite; taking out theseedlings in early spring or late autumn of the next year. According to the method, the
survival rate of bamboo seedlings can reach 55% at most, the breeding efficiency is high, the seedling cost islow, and the method is simple, convenient and easy for popularization.
