The invention discloses a method for identifying the authenticity of honey according to honey components. The method comprises the following steps that: preparations are made before identification: 3to 5g of a honey sample is put into a clean
beaker; a user smells the honey sample: authentic honey collected by bees in natural remote mountains, or authentic honey gives out the fragrance of flowers, but absolutely no sourness, industrial
flavor, fishy smell and the like no matter how slight the fragrance is; observation is carried out: air bubbles, color and
viscosity are observed sequentially;the user tastes the honey sample: the user can taste the honey sample with his or her tongue so as to verify the authenticity of the honey sample, if the honey sample is authentic, the honey taste ofthe honey sample is thick and pure, and the content of a
sugar component in the honey sample is moderate, the authentic honey sample will not be too sweet, and the
aftertaste of the authentic honey sample is slightly sour and makes the user'
throat have a sense of slight pricking, however, if the honey sample is fake honey, the content of the
sugar component in the honey sample is high, the honeytaste of the honey sample is slight, if the user eats the fake honey, all that he or she can taste is a
sweet taste other than a honey taste; and component identification is performed: component identification involves
impurity identification, water identification,
sugar identification,
crystal identification and iron wire identification. Various identification
modes are adopted; and therefore, the authenticity of honey can be identified according to the components of the honey, and consumers can use authentic honey.
