Application interface rendering method and apparatus

The application discloses an application interface rendering method and apparatus. An SDK package is arranged in a client of an application. The SDK package comprises a rendering engine. A first correspondence between component information defined in interface data and a native component in a current terminal device is stored in the rendering apparatus. The method comprises: completing the following operations through the rendering engine: when a request of displaying a specified interface of the application is received, requesting for interface data of the specified interface of the application from a server; after the interface data returned by the server are received, analyzing the interface data to obtain the component information defined in the interface data; according to the first correspondence, mapping the component information defined in the interface data into the native component in the current terminal device; and rendering the native component. Through the application interface rendering method and apparatus, users can be enabled to use latest functions of applications more timely, and various defects of a hybird scheme are avoided.

System and method of detecting fluid and leaks in thermal treatment system basins

A drape including a sensing device according to the present invention is disposed over a top surface of a thermal treatment system having a basin recessed therein. A portion of the drape is pushed down into the basin to form a drape container for collecting a sterile medium. The thermal treatment system may be of the type that either heats or congeals the sterile medium. The sensing device includes electrodes that are typically disposed through the drape and sealed. The electrodes provide signals indicating the presence of liquid and / or leaks or other conditions within the drape container to the system to facilitate control of system operation. In addition, the sensing device includes a fuse to limit the drape to a single use. The system disables the fuse to indicate prior use and detects tampering to bypass the fuse, thereby preventing use of the drape for subsequent medical procedures.

Method for Screening and Treating Patients at Risk of Medical Disorders

InactiveUS20070244375A1Reduced health costAccurate predictionElectrotherapySurgeryMorbidly obeseProper treatment
Method for screening patients to predict which patients at risk of a medical disorder, such as morbid obesity, gastrointestinal problems, or gastroesophageal problems, will be responders, and conversely, which patients will not, to achieve a favorable outcome from therapy for that disorder. This method supports an intervention strategy for patients having weight or gastrointestinal problems that will cut health costs. It enables patients and care-givers alike to more efficiently use their time, efforts and resources by enabling an early selection of an appropriate treatment modality for a given patient. Its application also extends to other implantable medical devices and therapies using them.

Low power digital audio decoding/playing system for computing devices

A low-power digital audio decoding and playing system and method for computing devices provides a low-cost, low power-consumption, long-battery-life audio playing and decoding system, which may be used to play compressed audio files of various formats. In one aspect, a computer system adapted to play audio files comprises a system CPU, memory, at least one drive comprising compressed audio data, and an audio controller coupled to the system CPU, memory and drive. The audio controller is adapted to cause the drive to read the compressed audio data from the drive, to cause the system CPU to decompress the compressed audio data from the drive into decompressed audio data, to cause the decompressed audio to be stored in the memory, and to cause the decompressed audio data to be retrieved from the memory for playing.

Video communication method for dynamically changing video code and system thereof

The invention relates to a video communication method for dynamically changing a video code. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining an order for changing the size of a video window at a video receiving end; generating a code changing signaling according to the order for changing; transmitting the code changing signaling to a video transmitting end; and receiving and modifying the code parameters of a coder in a real-time manner by the video transmitting end according to the code changing signaling. The invention also relates to a video communication system for dynamically changing the video code. According to the method and the system provided by the invention, a signaling for noticing the change of the code parameters is transmitted to the video transmitting end instantly when the size of the video window at the video receiving end is changed. The transmitting end can adjust the code parameters of the coder according to the parameters in the signaling, and adjust the bandwidth and CPU (central processing unit) requirements of each circuit in a self-adaptive way based on the feedback of the RTCP (real time control protocol), therefore, the network bandwidth and the CPU resource can be utilized more timely, reasonably and efficiently.

Systems and methods for capturing participant likeness for a video game character

Systems and methods for capturing participant likeness for a video game character are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method comprises receiving, at a pose generation system, multiple videos of one or more live events, the multiple videos recorded from a plurality of camera angles. A target participant may be identified, at the pose generation system, in the multiple videos. A set of poses may be generated, at the pose generation system, of the target participant from the multiple videos, the set of poses associated with a movement type or game stimulus. The set of poses may be received, at a model processing system, from the pose generation system. The method may further comprise generating, at the model processing system, a graphic dataset based on the set of poses, and storing, at the model processing system, the graphic dataset to assist in rendering gameplay of a video game.
