Two-dimensional image projection system

ActiveUS20060028709A1Easy to controlOptimizes focusing position and scanning speedStatic indicating devicesColor television detailsImaging qualityDisplay device
A two-dimensional image projection device using array of micromirror array lenses and a random scanning technique is invented. Using the random scanning technique, the light efficiency is nearly doubled than that of the prior art. The invention makes a brighter and less power consuming display device possible. Because each micromirror array lens of array of micromirror array lenses can scan whole image plane, a fast self diagnosis and correction technique can be introduced in displaying device. The Self diagnosis and correction technique makes display device to maintain image quality even a few tens percent of micromirrors do not work properly. Owing to the scanning characteristics of micromirror array lens, the image projection device can express the same number of pixels image with less number of micromirrors than the prior art. This also enables small sized two-dimensional image projector, which can be incorporated in portable electronic equipments.

Xaui extender card

Access to the XAUI lanes of a 10 Gigabit Ethernet device is provided when needed for testing of the XAUI electrical interface. Access is provided by extending the XAUI interface contained in a XENPAK interface connector. An embodiment of the present invention uses an extension of the XENPAK connector to generate and receive XAUI signals thus making it possible for any device with a XENPAK connector to become a XUAI tester with minimal components between the test equipment and the device under test. The reduction of components (only an AC-Coupling capacitor resides between the XENPAK connector and the SMA connector) results in significant reduction in insertion loss and signal degradation. Also, the availability of any device with a XENPAK interface as a XAUI tester eliminates any requirement for specialized test equipments. The XAUI Extender card fits in the slot in the test equipment that would normally house the XENPAK module. Thus, no special connector is required to configure a device as a test equipment of the present invention.

Provided is an anticancer prodrug sensitive to a target protease. The anticancer prodrug includes an anticancer drug, peptide that is specifically decomposed by the target protease excessively secreted by cancer cells, and a polymer that is specifically accumulated at a target cancer site. When the inactive anticancer prodrug is administered, the anticancer prodrug is accumulated at the target caner site and then the peptide is decomposed by irradiation of radioactive rays, thereby releasing an active anticancer drug at the target caner site. Accordingly, destruction of normal cells can be minimized and a high anticancer therapeutic effect can be obtained by using a small amount of the anticancer drug administered and a small amount of radioactive rays irradiated.

Control method and control system for screw pump

A control method is used with a control system to control a screw pump. The control system includes an electric motor and a motor drive. The control method includes following steps. Firstly, a DC bus voltage is monitored. If the DC bus voltage is smaller than a first threshold value, a potential energy stored in the pump screw and released by a backspin action is converted into a regenerative electrical energy so as to maintain a normal operation of the motor drive. Then, the motor drive drives the electric motor to control the backspin action of the screw pump according to a backspin torque limit strategy. If the electrical power from the power source is not restored and the level of a reverse regenerative torque is smaller than a preset torque value, the backspin action of the screw pump is stopped freely.
