The invention discloses a method of imitating-wild directional hole-controlled root cultivation under the forest of
elaeagnus angustifolia. The method includes the steps of 1), selection of forest land, namely selecting artificial forest land or mountain area with the elevation of 800-1200m, the slope of 30-60 degrees, the shade degree of 30%-70% and the depth of soil layer of more than 50cm, andthe slope facing north and east, with the temperature and
humidity suitable for the growth environment of
elaeagnus angustifolia; 2), mechanical drilling, namely avoiding rock and tree roots, using amechanical drilling
machine on the slope to
drill horizontal planting holes, wherein the
diameter of the planting holes is controlled at 30-35cm, the depth is 40-50cm, and 1500-2000 holes are drilledper mu; 3), from March to June, filling well-allocated
elaeagnus angustifolia culture media into the guide holes, planting 2-3 strong seedlings of
elaeagnus angustifolia in the holes 10cm from the mouth, filling and patting with the media, pouring enough rooting water, covering the surface with weeds or withered leaves to moisturize, and performing harvesting after 3-5 years. The technique provided is simple in operation, less in investment, free from manual establishment of shading facilities and
irrigation, high in yield, convenient in manual mining and capable of improving economic benefitof growers remarkably.
