Routing calls in a telecommunications network on the basis of passband

The invention relates to a method of routing a call in a network having a plurality of nodes interconnected by trunks, the method including calculating the costs of different routes for taking the call, and selecting a route as a function of cost. According to the invention, the cost of a route is a function of the bandwidth available on the trunks making up the route, of the resources available on said trunks, and of the bandwidth required for the call. The cost of a trunk can be represented in the form of a vector whose first component is a decreasing function of the available bandwidth, and whose second component is a decreasing function of available resources. The invention makes it possible, when routing a call, to take account of quality of service in terms of bandwidth. If the second component is a function that has a value that is constant above some quantity of available resources, then the invention makes it possible to limit the number of routing calculations performed, and to avoid making new routing calculations so long as the topology of the network remains unchanged.

Grid data copy generation method based on time and space limitation

A grid data transcription generation method which is based on time and spatial locality is the method for determining the number of data transcriptions in a grid and the distribution thereof on grid nodes based on behavioral characteristics of data access of a grid user, therefore, the method of the generation of the data transcriptions is carried out. The method determines the number of the data transcriptions in the grid and the distribution thereof on the grid nodes based on the behavioral characteristics of the data access of the grid user. The basic idea is to utilize the time locality distribution of the user access data to obtain the spatial locality among the data in the grid, then the number of the data transcriptions and the distribution principles are determined based on the spatial locality, and the various transcriptions of the data are further replicated and distributed. Therefore, the number of the transcriptions needed by the data and the distribution method of the transcriptions can be obtained according to the grouping situation of the data on a neighboring relationship diagram, thereby utilizing less number of the transcriptions and the effective distribution of the transcriptions to achieve the delay of the data access in the grid and to reduce the network bandwidth consumption.

Efficient communication method and system applied to blockchain

PendingCN113709203APrevent centralizationSolve the problem of easily occupying network bandwidth and even causing floodingTransmissionTree rootComputer network
The invention provides an efficient communication method and system applied to a blockchain. Nodes of a blockchain network are divided into a plurality of node sets which are organized through a balance tree structure, a new node is added to a balance tree at random and taken as a leaf node of the balance tree, and the newly generated balance tree is broadcasted to other nodes in the balance tree. A root node can generate a new balance tree at random according to the balance tree at regular time, and sends the addresses of other root nodes in the blockchain network stored by the original root node to the root node of the newly generated balance tree. Only a parent node and a child node in the balance tree directly communicate, so that the problem that p2p communication used by the blockchain occupies too much bandwidth is solved. Meanwhile, the number of balance tree nodes is limited, and the blockchain is prevented from tending to be centralized.

Method and apparatus for load-sensitive routing of long-lived packet flows

The present invention builds on the implications of variability in flow durations on the stability of load-sensitive routing. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, long-lived flows of packets are routed dynamically while short-lived flows are forwarded on preprovisioned static paths. This hybrid approach can exploit flow-classification hardware at the edge of backbone networks and known techniques for flow-pinning, as well as basic insights from earlier work on QoS routing. This approach of separating short-lived and long-lived flows can dramatically improve the stability of dynamic routing.
