A self-lock pin assembly is installed on the top cover shell and comprises a compressed spring and a steel ball. At the neutral gear, the steel ball is located in an axial groove of the self-locking block. When the self-locking block rotates along with the gear shifting shaft to conduct gear shifting, the steel ball of the self-lock pin assembly falls to the outer sides of two axial protrusions. The transmission head cover assembly is accurate in gear shifting and compact in structure, the assembly and maintenance process of a speed change control mechanism is simplified, and cost is reduced.
