The present invention relates to connecting and impedance matching a balanced electrical signal, such as that received by an antenna, with an unbalanced transmission circuit, such as that delivered to an amplifier. A planar circuit board is described that delivers signals having opposite polarization collected by different antenna arms to a location for convenient connection to a twin-lead transmission line. Circuit topologies for the circuit board are described that provide relatively low loss and low cross-coupling. A tapered microstrip balun is also described that includes two conducting microstrips on opposing faces of a dielectric separator. Stepped or tapered microstrips at the balanced input port of the balun provide an impedance transforming section electrically connecting to a mode transducing section, in which one of the microstrips tapers outward to form a substantially wider strip. Appropriate choice of parameters is shown to lead to favorable performance in a compact balun.

The invention relates to a connection method of a double-core coaxial line welding connector. The method comprises the following technical steps of: wiring; external covering processing; external covering processing; braiding and tin dipping; braiding and YAG laser processing; braiding processing; CO2 laser internal covering processing; internal covering processing; internal conductor tin dipping and cutting; and connector connecting. The method has the following advantages: firstly, welding copper sheets do not have to be grounded when a 40 AWG double-core coaxial line is processed, such that numerous manpower and material resources are reduced; secondly, after a connector is welded to a core wire, a mesh grid can be directly welded at the grounding position of the connector, 0 to 180-DEG adjustment can be realized according to the size of the connector and the angle of an internal space adjusting solder, especially during welding of a SATA connector, the angle of a braiding solder can be adjusted so as to guarantee the thickness of the connector; and thirdly, the connection method can conform to the development of a conventional notebook computer and is applied to various computers. Therefore, the connection method provided by the invention has the advantages of wide application scope, simple manufacture, high energy conservation and environmental protection and the like.
