Catalytically inactive heat generator and improved dehydrogenation process

An improved dehydrogenation catalyst bed system for olefin production utilizing classical processing techniques is disclosed. The catalyst bed system comprises a dehydrogenation catalyst comprising an active component selected from an oxide of a metal of Group 4 or Group 5 or Group 6 and combinations thereof and a support selected from aluminum oxide, aluminas, alumina monohydrate, alumina trihydrate, alumina-silica, transition aluminas, alpha-alumina, silica, silicate, aluminates, calcined hydrotalcites, zeolites and combinations thereof mixed with a first inert material selected from any material that is catalytically inactive when subjected to reaction conditions that can effect dehydrogenation of olefins and that has a high density and high heat capacity and that is not capable of producing heat during any stage of the dehydrogenation process, and the dehydrogenation catalyst plus the first inert material then being physically mixed with a secondary component comprising a heat-generating inert material and a carrier capable of supporting the heat-generating inert material, wherein the secondary component is catalytically inert with respect to dehydrogenation reactions or to cracking or to coking and generates heat after being exposed to reducing and / or to oxidizing reaction conditions.

Two-component wet cement, process and application thereof

The technical field of the invention belongs to concrete and cement. The invention relates to a sialite binary wet cement and its package, transportation, storage and application. The sialite binary wet cement is composed of a “female body” as a primary component and a “male body” as a secondary component both of which are produced, stored, and transported separately, and are mixed together when they are used, wherein the “female body” and the “male body” each have a specific surface area of 2800-7500 cm2/g, the “female body” is mainly composed of inorganic cementitious materials and water, and it is in slurry, paste or wet powder form during the whole period of its production, storage, transportation and usage; the “male body” is mainly composed of inorganic cementitious materials, and it can be a wet form or a dry powder form. When they are used, the “female body” and the “male body” are mixed together with a small amount of regulating agents. There is no generation of dust, SO2, NOx and CO2 during production and application of the sialite binary wet cement. Therefore heavy pollution of a traditional cement industry is avoided, and energy consumption and cost of product are decreased. The starting materials of the said cement mainly come from natural mineral, various slag and cinder. The said cement can be used for building, traffic, water conservancy, nine filling, timbering, and solidation of roadbed.

Methods of providing power headroom reports arranged in order of component carrier indices and related wireless terminals and base stations

Power headroom reports may be transmitted from a wireless terminal to a base station wherein a primary component carrier and at least one secondary component carrier are provided for uplink transmissions from the wireless terminal to the base station and wherein a respective component carrier index is assigned to each of the at least one secondary component carriers provided for the wireless terminal. Respective power headroom reports may be generated for the primary component carrier and for each of the at least one secondary component carriers, and a MAC control element may be generated including the power headroom reports for the primary and secondary component carriers. More particularly, the power headroom reports for each of the at least one secondary component carriers may be arranged in order of the component carrier indices for the respective secondary component carriers. The MAC control element including the power headroom reports for the primary and secondary component carriers may be transmitted from the wireless terminal to the base station over one of the component carriers. Related wireless terminals, and base stations are also discussed.

The invention discloses a supported ruthenium catalyst and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method is characterized in that the preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, preprocessing a carrier with a soluble alkaline earth metal salt, wherein the mass of the soluble alkaline earth metal salt accounts for 0.1-20% of the mass of the carrier; and 2, dipping the alkaline earth metal salt processed carrier with a material which comprises a primary active component metallic ruthenium and an assisted catalytic component comprising one or several of Ni, Co, Pd and Pt, wherein the mass of the primary component metallic ruthenium accounts for 0.1-5% of the carrier, and the mass of the secondary component comprising one or several of Ni, Co, Pd and Pt accounts for 0.01-5% of the mass of the carrier. The catalyst of the invention is mainly applied to the selective hydrogenation process of an aromatic ring of an aromatic compound, wherein the aromatic ring of the aromatic compound has at least one alkyl group, one ester group, one hydroxyl group or an amino group and also has at least one C1-8 alkyl group. Compared with catalysts prepared with the prior art, the catalyst of the invention has the advantages of low cost, simple preparation method, high activity, good selectivity, high safety in the operation of the aromatic ring hydrogenation, realization of the operation of the aromatic ring hydrogenation under a low pressure, and good economy.
