The invention provides a hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform for energy management strategies of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. The hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform comprises a PC upper computer, a vehicle control unit, a line concentrator, a VT system real-time simulation system, CANoe software, MotoTune software, a brake pedal, an accelerator pedal and a key switch. According to the platform, the PC upper computer constructs a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle model through MATLAB / Simulink, and a real-time simulation core is generated; the real-time simulation core is downloaded to VTSystem by the CANoe software; a vehicle energy management strategy is established by MotoHawk software and is downloaded to the vehicle control unit by the MotoTune software. The PC upper computer monitors and evaluates the bus environment by the aid of the CANoe software. Compared with an existing hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform, the hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform has the advantages that the energy management strategy development efficiency of the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is improved and the like.
