The invention relates to a preparation method of an
activated carbon filter. The preparation method includes the steps: (1) preparing raw materials: putting powdered
activated carbon and powdered activated
zeolite into a
raw material pool, putting an
adhesive into the
raw material pool, injecting water according to a weight ratio, then putting a
synthetic fiber into the
raw material pool, stirring, and wrapping a porous plastic
pipe with a two-layer non-
woven fabric; (2) adopting a suction molding method: allowing the raw materials in a tank to gather on the porous plastic
pipe, and eventually filling fully a whole suction and
injection device; and (3) adopting an injection molding method: making the raw materials gather in an injection
metal mold with the porous plastic
pipe as the axle center, and eventually filling fully the whole injection
metal mold. The beneficial effects are that the
activated carbon filter can effectively remove peculiar smell and free organic compounds in water, and also can remove trace
heavy metals such as
cadmium, lead,
chromium and the like in a liquid; no activated carbon and other adsorption media fall off, and thus secondary
pollution is effectively avoided; through a precise mesh-number matching of activated carbon, the removal rate of
cryptosporidium is high; and the liquid flow rate is increased, and the resistance is decreased.
