The invention discloses a PEKK individualized
implant design and manufacture method for reconstruction of a mandible box defect. The PEKK individualized
implant design and manufacture method includesthe following steps that (1) establishment of
image acquisition and a three-dimensional model is conducted; (2) determination and design of
abutment position are conducted; (3) design of a fixed unitis conducted; (4) design of a support unit is conducted; (5) design of a boundary grid surface is conducted; (6) the support unit, a fixed unit, the boundary grid surface and a base are combined through boolean operation, and the three-dimensional model of the PEKK
implant is obtained; (7) the implant is integrally printed to be shaped and a guide plate of a resection operation in an inpatient ward are printed out at the same time by a 3D printing technology; and 8) the post-
processing is conducted, and a PEKK individualized implant with functions of bone reconstruction and
dental implant repair can be used clinically and used for the reconstruction of the mandible box defect is obtained. The invention further provides the PEKK individualized implant for the reconstruction of the mandiblebox defect. According to the PEKK individualized
implant design and manufacture method and the PEKK individualized implant, the
mechanical strength is enough to support the load, enough pore space isprovided used for transmitting a
biological agent, and inward growth of bones can be stimulated.
