The invention discloses a bionic object selection method based on a TRIZ theory. The method is characterized in comprising the following steps of: S1: converting an engineering practical problem into a TRIZ problem, and extracting a parameter to be improved and a deteriorated parameter; S2: independently substituting the parameter to be improved and the deteriorated parameter into an Altshuller contradiction matrix to search recommended inventive principles for solving a problem; S3: in the obtained inventive principles, analyzing the occurrence frequency of each inventive principle, sorting the inventive principles according to the descending order of the occurrence frequency, and selecting the inventive principles which are in the top N rank; and S4: comparing the inventive principles with a bionic phenomenon, selecting a biological phenomenon which is most suitable for solving the problem as a model to determine the bionic object. By use of the method, an advanced inventive problem solution, i.e., the TRIZ theory, can be introduced into a traditional bionic object selection process, the TRIZ theory is used for guiding the selection of a bionic biological prototype, and the bionic object which is most suitable for solving the problem can be efficiently selected.

Method of capturing cell fluid and analyzing components thereof while observing cell and system for capturing and analyzing cell fluid

It is intended to provide a means of quickly clarifying the dynamics and molecular mechanism of a biological phenomenon by, at least in a single cell, enabling the convenient and quick detection of molecules in a fluid contained in the cell and simultaneously observing the cell dynamics. At the same time, it is aimed at providing a means of searching for an active molecule providing a certain state of a cell from among a number of the detected molecules. The fluid contained in a single cell is directly sucked through a capillary and then loaded directly on an analyzer. This procedure is carried out under a magnifying glass such as a microscope while observing the cell. In the case of employing mass spectrometry, in particular, the fluid contained in the cell is captured by directly sucking through an ionization capillary for a nano-spray, mixed with an ionization-assisting solvent, and then directly introduced into a mass spectrometer by the direct spraying method. Thus, the molecular components of the inner fluid are detected even from a single cell. By analyzing the thus captured molecular peaks among cell data groups in different states with the use of differential analysis or t-calibration, a peak, i.e., a molecule that is specific to a certain state is identified.

Data analysis methods for locating entities of interest within large, multivariable datasets

The present invention provides data analysis methods for the rapid location of subsets of large, multivariable biological datasets that are of most interest for further analysis, for the investigation of molecular modes of action of biological phenomena of interest, and for the identification of sets of data points that best distinguish between experimental groups in larger datasets as putative biomarkers. While existing methods for analyzing large biological datasets generally provide too much information to the user, or not enough, the methods of the present invention entail taking user input on what kinds of trends are of interest and then finding results that match the designated trend. In such manner, the methods of the invention allow a user to quickly pinpoint the subset of data of most interest without a concomitant loss of a large percentage of relevant information, as is typical with standard methods. The methods of the invention allow for identification of molecular entities that are involved in a biological phenomenon of interest, entities that may have otherwise gone undiscovered in a large, multivariable dataset.
