Computational medical treatment plan method and system with mass medical analysis

The present disclosure is directed toward global medical data analysis methods, systems, and computer program products for analyzing, classifying, and matching mass amounts of medical information from many sources and across different regions. The global medical data analysis system includes a medical main server that contains an intelligent medical engine, which is communicatively coupled to a central database, a confidential electronic medical records database, and further communicatively coupled through a network to hospitals, clinics, and other medical sources. The intelligent medical engine receives voluminous medical record, potentially from different countries, regions, and continents. Electronic Medical records are sourced from hospitals, clinics, and other medical sources, which are fed into the intelligent medical engine for large-scale analysis and correlation of patients' medical records globally. The analysis starts by degrouping (classifying) medical records into multiple levels of subgroups according to patient clinical parameters, disease templates, treatments and outcomes. When a new patient enters the system, that patient's parameters and disease template are matched against the closest subgroups to suggest treatments with potentially favorable outcomes.

System and process for presenting search results in a tree format

A system and process for graphically displaying the results of a standard electronic search to a user on a display device via an interactive search results window in which the user views and refines search results items using a tree format. In general, the tree has a first level that indicates how the search results may be refined. The second level of the tree shows what subsets (what) are available for a particular refining method. The third level shows how the already refined (by the second level) results may be refined further. This is repeatedly applied with odd-numbered levels of the tree indicating how the results may be refined, and even-numbered levels indicating what subsets are available. In addition to the tree, the search results window also includes a listing of the search results items associated with a user-selected portion of the tree.

Managing configurations of system management agents in a distributed environment

A method, system and computer program product for managing system management agent configurations which include agent system management programs and program parameters in a distributed environment. A configuration management server sends upon request from the agents installed on the distributed system a description of their configuration. To this effect, the configuration management server maintains a database storing the agent configuration information, this database being usually updated by a system management administrator. The agents get from the server the list of peer distributed systems having the same agent configuration and their configuration from one distributed system of the list or obtain an agent configuration directly from the configuration management server if the peer distributed systems have modified their configuration. The agents advise the system management server when a new configuration has been installed.

Provided is a printer capable of performing printing on both of a heat-sensitive adhesive label and an ordinary label in which release paper is stuck onto an adhesive surface. A thermal printer is composed of a roll housing unit which holds a tape-like heat-sensitive adhesive label and a tape-like ordinary label, each of which is wound in a roll shape, such that those labels are exchangeable, a printing unit which prints on the heat-sensitive adhesive label or the ordinary label which is held in the roll housing unit, a cutter unit which cuts the heat-sensitive adhesive label or the ordinary label into pieces with a predetermined length, a thermal activation unit which functions only in a case where the heat-sensitive adhesive label is held in the roll housing unit and thermally activates a heat-sensitive adhesive layer of the heat-sensitive adhesive label, a guide unit which guides the heat-sensitive adhesive label from the cutter unit to the thermal activation unit, a control unit which controls the above-described respective units to operate differently between a case of using the ordinary label and a case of using the heat-sensitive adhesive label, and the like.
