Process and system for operating magnetron discharges

Magnetron discharges are pulse-operated to avoid the so-called "arcing". In the case of magnetron discharges from alternating current-fed magnetrons, the process is limited to the minor power of the energy supply because of the load-carrying capacity of the required electric components. When the magnetron discharges are fed by direct current, their effectiveness deteriorates because of the deposition of layers on the anode surfaces. The new process should enable a high supply power and prevent arcing. In magnetron discharges with at least two magnetron electrodes, the energy is supplied in such a way that at least one magnetron electrode is a cathode or anode and a number n1 of direct current pulses of said polarity is supplied. The poles of at least one magnetron electrode are then reversed and a number n2 of direct currents of this polarity are supplied. The process is carried on in this manner, the frequency of the direct current pulses being higher than that of the polarity reversals. The energy supply effectiveness is thus improved. This process and system enable the production of layers having the most different properties, for example for the glass, packaging, electronic, and machine construction industries.

The solid-state relay contains following parts: a luminous element; light voltaic diode array for generating effect of photoproduction voltage after receiving light signal; a field effect transistor (FET) for responding light voltaic output. The relay also includes a NPN triode and a PNP triode. Being connected to each other in parallel, base pole and emitter of the said triodes are connected between grids of light voltaic diode array and output FET. Base pole and emitter of the NPN triode as well as grid poles and source poles of light voltaic diode array and FET constitute series connection loop. A diode is inserted between collector of NPN triode and drain pole of FET. Cathode of the diode is connected to collector of NPN triode and a capacitor. The capacitor, NPN triode and diode constitute a charging circuit for grid of the FET. Being added in the invention, the charging and discharging circuit for grid of the FET quickens operation for turning on and off the solid-state relay.

Electrode of heating device for zone melting furnace

The invention provides an electrode of a heating device for a zone melting furnace, which relates to the technical field of electric heating, and solves the problems that the output efficiency of electrodes in the conventional heating device is low, and the security of a zone melting furnace is reduced since the arc discharge phenomenon is easy to generate among the electrodes. According to the electrode provided by the invention, an electrode insulating sleeve can electrically insulate a columnar body from a first lower electrode head, an electrode cylinder and a first electrode flange, a first electrode insulating sheet is arranged between the first lower electrode head and a second lower electrode head, and a second electrode insulating sheet is arranged between the first electrode flange and a second electrode flange, so that a first electrode and a second electrode can be electrically insulated from each other through a solid insulating material. Therefore, the electrode has a good insulating property and avoids the arc discharge phenomenon. Furthermore, the electrode cylinder is arranged inside the insulating sleeve, so that the electrode cylinder is insulated from the zone melting furnace. Therefore, the security of the zone melting furnace is improved, the output consumption of a high-frequency power source can be reduced to the greatest extent, and the output power of the high-frequency power source is improved. The electrode provided by the invention is mainly applied to the zone melting furnace for implementing purification and crystal growth of silicon materials.
