The invention discloses a method for improving soil to
plant arbors in a severely-viscous
saline-alkali land and an application thereof. The method includes ridging the ground in a planting area, andconstructing drainage channels at intervals of 45-55m parallel to the ridging direction; building a
drainage ditch at 20-30m perpendicular to the
ridge and communicating with the surrounding water
system to ensure that the drenched
salt water can be discharged, and padding the excavated soil
pile on the
soil surface to be elevated for micro-
topography; rotary
tilling the soil in the planting areauntil the maximum width of the
soil mass is less than 3cm, adding a
saline-
alkali soil synergistic conditioner and an
organic fertilizer, evenly spreading, turning the soil vertically and horizontallyand deeply, and mixing the soil fully and evenly; and after the arbor seedlings are planted, covering the roots with
straw mats for 2-5cm. The method not only can improve the
soil structure of the severely-viscous
saline-alkali land, but also can accelerate salt leaching and prevent salt return, reduce the
salt content and pH value of the soil, reduce the harm of saline-alkali to
greening arbors,improve the
survival rate of arbors, and promote the
sustainable development of
greening of the severely-viscous saline-alkali land.
