The invention discloses a
vacuum arc remelting furnace. The
vacuum arc remelting furnace comprises a movable burner and a static
smelting station. The movable burner is connected with a driving support through a supporting mechanism. An electric conduction material rod penetrates through the center of the movable burner from top to bottom and is connected with the movable burner. The static
smelting station comprises a
copper crystallizer and a stainless steel
water cooling jacket. The
copper crystallizer is movably placed in the stainless steel
water cooling jacket. The stainless steel
water cooling jacket is fixed below the movable burner. A cable is twined around the outside surface of the stainless steel water cooling jacket. According to the
vacuum arc remelting furnace, in the
smelting process, electric currents pass through the cable twined around the outside surface of the stainless steel water cooling jacket of the static smelting
station, thus a
magnetic field is generated, and
transverse force is exerted on
metal smelted in a smelting cavity. Therefore, manual control over
magnetic field stirring in the smelting cavity is achieved, the smelting precision is improved, and the available quantity of products is increased.
