The invention relates to a device for detecting a photovoltaic module. The device comprises a base, a fixed cross beam, an electric telescopic rod, a support and a first fixing frame. A detection plate is mounted in the base, and the support is arranged on the surface of the base. A first clamp and a second clamp are installed in the support, and the other end of the electric telescopic rod is connected with one side of the detection plate. The connecting shaft is installed in a fixed shaft base, and an LED light bar is installed in a portion, opposite to a light penetrating hole, of the interior of the base. A projection plate is installed at the portion, opposite to the light penetrating hole, of the bottom of the support. The support is arranged on the surface of the base, and a secondfixing frame is arranged on the inner side, adjacent to the first fixing frame, of the support. The interior of a movable groove is connected with the second clamp. According to the invention, in theprocess that the detection plate moves forwards along with the conveying belt, through two times of detection at different angles, the comprehensive detection effect of the device is improved, and unqualified products are avoided.
