At least one transmitter is operatively coupled to the at least one sensor to communicate sensor data obtained from the at least one sensor while the user is operating the automobile. Automobile electronics are operatively coupled to the at least one transmitter to receive sensor data from the at least one sensor while the user is operating the automobile. The automobile electronics provide the sensor data to the user while the user is operating the automobile. A mobile telephone is operatively coupled to the automobile electronics, wherein the automobile electronics initiate a communication via the mobile telephone based on the sensor data received from the at least one sensor.

Spacing between surfaces of the removable insert and surfaces of the electrode is adequate to permit gas flow, but inadequate for plasma ignition within the opening. The removable insert can be easily removed during cleaning of the gas distribution showerhead, permitting the holes in the gas distribution plate to be easily accessed from both sides of the gas distribution plate.

A method and a monitor for monitoring a driver of a vehicle, the monitor includes: multiple sensors coupled to at least one vehicle element or integrated with at least one vehicle element; a processor for: receiving physiological information relating to the driver from the multiple sensors; detecting, based on the physiological information, a health problem of the driver, an awareness level of the driver and a stress level of the driver; determining a selected action to be performed based on the detection, wherein the action is selected from a list consisting of: establishing a call to a remote assistance site, transmitting the physiological information to a remote assistance site, generating an audio alert, and generating a visual alert; and assisting in a completion of the selected action.

When the battery is overheated to a predetermined temperature, a shell of the fire extinguishing particle coated on one surface or both surfaces of a porous separator is melted, a fire extinguishing material disposed in an inner space of the shell is released into an electrolytic solution of the battery, and as a result, it is possible to prevent the battery from being ignited or exploded even though the battery is overheated. Further, the melted shell clogs pores of the porous separator to block lithium ions from moving, such that the battery is blocked from being driven, thereby preventing the battery from being overheated any more.

A heater for fluid flow components. The heater has heat transfer surfaces that engage the component. The transfer surfaces are mounted on jaws that are movable to engage the component.
