In information retrieval (IR) systems with high-speed access, especially to search engines applied to the Internet and / or corporate intranet domains for retrieving accessible documents automatic text categorization techniques are used to support the presentation of search query results within high-speed network environments. An integrated, automatic and open information retrieval system (100) comprises an hybrid method based on linguistic and mathematical approaches for an automatic text categorization. It solves the problems of conventional systems by combining an automatic content recognition technique with a self-learning hierarchical scheme of indexed categories. In response to a word submitted by a requester, said system (100) retrieves documents containing that word, analyzes the documents to determine their word-pair patterns, matches the document patterns to database patterns that are related to topics, and thereby assigns topics to each document. If the retrieved documents are assigned to more than one topic, a list of the document topics is presented to the requester, and the requester designates the relevant topics. The requester is then granted access only to documents assigned to relevant topics. A knowledge database (1408) linking search terms to documents and documents to topics is established and maintained to speed future searches. Additionally, new strategies are presented to deal with different update frequencies of changed Web sites.

Also disclosed are a method for fabricating the micromixer, a method of mixing a plurality of fluid streams by vortex mixing or instability mixing, and a system comprising the micromixer, fluid reservoirs and a pump for generating flow of fluids from the reservoirs to the micromixer.

Vehicle mounted satellite antenna system with in-motion tracking using beam forming

The present invention relates to a vehicle mountable satellite antenna as defined in the claims which is operable while the vehicle is in motion. The satellite antenna of the present invention can be installed on top of (or embedded into) the roof of a vehicle. The antenna is capable of providing high gain and a narrow antenna beam for aiming at a satellite direction and enabling broadband communication to vehicle. The present invention provides a vehicle mounted satellite antenna which has low axial ratio, high efficiency and has low grating lobes gain. The vehicle mounted satellite antenna of the present invention provides two simultaneous polarization states. In one embodiment, a hybrid mechanic and electronic steering approach provides a more reasonable cost and performance trade-off. The antenna aiming in the elevation direction is achieved via control of an electronic beamforming network. The antenna is mounted on a rotatable platform under mechanical steering and motion control for aiming the antenna in the azimuth direction. Such approach significantly reduces the complexity and increases the reliability of the mechanical design. The antenna height is compatible to the two-dimensional electronic steering phased-array antenna. Additionally, the number of the electronic processing elements required is considerably reduced from that of the conventional two-dimensional electronic steering phased-array antenna, thereby allowing for low cost and large volume commercial production. The present invention provides electronically generated left, right, up, and down beams for focusing the antenna beam toward the satellite while the vehicle is moving. All of the beams are simultaneously available for use in the motion beam tracking. This provides much faster response and less signal degradation.

The invention relates to a mixing method of iron-based powder metallurgy bonding powder. The mixing method comprises: (1) pre-mixing: according to a formulation of powder metallurgy, feeding powder materials into a powder mixing machine, vacuuming the inner cavity of the powder mixing machine after feeding, wherein the inner pressure of the powder mixing machine is at least less than 30000 Pa, and then mixing for 10-60 minutes under a negative pressure state; (2) heating for dissolving: based on the pre-mixed powder material serving as a base powder, adding 2wt% of copper powder, 0.8wt% of graphite powder and 0.8wt% of a lubricant, while standing and heating, gradually rising the heating temperature to 10 DEG C above the melting point of the lubricant so as to reach a predetermined temperature, and then insulating; and (3) cooling and re-mixing: when the temperature of the power is lower than 50 DEG C, controlling the time of re-mixing to be within 2-30 minutes. The mixing method has the beneficial effects that the visual dusting conditions of the mixed powder subjected to bonding treatment are obviously reduced, which indicates that the bonding effect of the graphite and lubricant is good; and simultaneously, the apparent density, mobility and compressibility of the mixed powder are well maintained.
