The invention discloses a method for adding waste colloidal particles into an airport matrix to regulate the ground cover
community seasonal aspect and the species composition. The method comprises the steps of firstly, clipping
vegetation in a regulation area and turning soil for the area, wherein the depth is 20 centimeters, and ploughing is conducted once; according to a sample field of 6.7 m*15 m in an experiment area of the regulation area, spreading 1 t, 0.67 t and 0.34 t, respectively, of waste colloidal particles in the regulation area to be uniformly mixed with turned soil, and afterfilling, the
vegetation of the regulation area is in a natural growth state; after filling of the regulation matrix is completed, inspection is conducted twice every month. A basic theory of communityecology is used,
sludge compost is utilized to conduct the matrix regulation research on ground cover plants of the Tianjin airport, and the method aims at controlling
bird food sources and changingthe
habitat and the breeding environment of birds from the aspect of plants, lowering the diversity of species, achieving lowering of the
plant community diversity, then reducing the species and the number of the birds, lowering the hidden danger to the airport safety caused by the birds, providing a theoretical basis for the airport to operate and manage the
plant community and also providing a scientific basis for airport
bird strike prevention work.
