The phase shifter introduces a phase shift along a feedforward path. A phase measurement circuit measures a phase shift at a feedforward path input, and provides a phase measurement output to an internal feedback processor. The internal feedback processor adjusts internal feedback as a function of the phase measurement to suppress coupling of external audio feedback along the feedforward path.

The invention provides a dual-polarized vibrator unit, an antenna and a multi-frequency antenna array. The dual-polarized vibrator unit includes a radiator and a balun support portion for feeding of the radiator. The invention provides a capacitive micromachined tuning fork gyroscope. The gyroscope is the symmetrical dual-mass structural gyroscope, comprising a substrate and a framework arranged in the centre of the substrate, wherein the middle of the framework is provided with a framework beam perpendicular to the framework; two detection mass blocks are symmetrically arranged in the framework with the framework beam as a symmetry axis, and four corners of each detection mass block are connected with the framework and the framework beam through at least four drive beams; decoupling drive comb capacitors are respectively arranged at both ends of each detection mass block in the direction of a vertical axis; detection comb capacitors are symmetrically arranged on both outer sides of the framework in the direction of a horizontal axis; at least four detection beams are arranged on both outer sides of the framework in the direction of the vertical axis; and the detection beams are distributed symmetrically relative to the vertical axis and the horizontal axis and are fixed on the substrate through corresponding anchor points. According to the capacitive horizontal-axis micromachined tuning fork gyroscope provided by the invention, the mechanical coupling between the detection mode and the driving mode of the micromachined tuning fork gyroscope can be solved easily and effectively.

Method and system for obtaining an adaptive angle-doppler ambiguity function in MIMO radars

A method for obtaining an adaptive angle-Doppler ambiguity function (AF) for a target using multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) radar that includes a transmit antenna array having a plurality of antenna elements. The method includes generating transmit signals for transmission by the transmit antenna array, the transmit signals defining at least a first transmit trajectory of a phase center within the transmit antenna array; transmitting the transmit signals using the transmit antenna array and receiving receive signals from the target, the receive signals resulting from the incidence of the transmit signals upon the target; and obtaining at least an angle-Doppler ambiguity function (AF) from the receive signals. The first transmit trajectory is such that, in operation, the phase center undergoes random phase center motion (PCM), such that a phase center position within the transmit antenna array varies randomly with time. A system for obtaining an AF is also disclosed.

A low profile wideband multi-beam integrated dual polarization antenna array with compensated mutual coupling effect. Instead of suppressing mutual coupling with post-element-design techniques by attempting to block the reflections between elements, an element of the array is designed using its active impedance, i.e. its impedance with mutual coupling once the element is part of the array. The active impedance is determined using various simulation techniques and the element is then designed such that its impedance is shifted in order to modify its active impedance. This technique does not reduce the mutual coupling itself but instead, compensates for the mutual coupling effect and improves the return loss of the element.

An impedance matching conductive via structure that is effectively constructed by selecting an outer conductor and an inner conductor diameter through analytical calculation or numerical simulation, such that impedance of the conductive via structure is matched to the impedance of the conductive signal traces of a printed circuit board. The conductive via structure comprises a conductive barrel that either connects to multiple ground planes or to multiple powers planes and serves as the outer conductor for a coaxial structure that provides a current return path and a matched impedance path of via transition, thus improving the signal transition and reducing signal reflection due to via discontinuity. Moreover, the conductive barrel of the conductive via structure also reduces radiation loss through a parallel plane structure and suppresses coupling between neighboring vias as the energy escaping through the conductive barrel and radiating to other vias is minimized.

By giving different perturbations to the propagation constants of the cores, the propagation constants of the cores are each varied from the original propagation constants. Because of the variation in the propagation constants, the core-to-core coupling amount, which is dependent on the varied propagation constants, fall below a predetermined setting amount. Suppressing the coupling between homogeneous cores in this way reduces the distance between the homogeneous cores, thus increasing the core density of the multicore fiber without increasing the types of heterogeneous cores.

A single and effective method is designed for the current ring of the grid-connected converter, the problem of d-axis current and q-axis current coupling is prevented to the greatest extent, the phase margin of the system is expanded by delay compensation, the stability of the current ring is improved, and the dynamic response performance is improved.

Suppression of cladding mode losses is achieved by an arrangement for suppressing the coupling of radiation in the short wavelength range between a core mode supported the active core and a cladding mode supported by the cladding. The arrangement for suppressing can include an absorbing material or a scattering material distributed in the cladding. The arrangement for suppressing can include a non-phase-matched length section of the fiber amplifier in which the core mode and the cladding modes are not phase matched.
