System apparatus and method for hosting and assigning domain names on a wide area network

Embodiments of the instant invention are directed to a domain management system, apparatus and method for hosting and assigning domain names. Embodiments of the domain management system comprise a name assignment system and a hosting system, wherein the hosting system comprises a domain retrieval system and a data storage apparatus. The name assignment system verifies availability and assigns domain names to requesting clients. The name assignment system comprises an input component, a confirmation mechanism and a name storage means. Preferred embodiments of the domain retrieval system comprise a scheduler, a parsing member having a plurality of redirectors and a plurality of servers. The domain retrieval system locates the domain referenced by the domain name by parsing header information and utilizing a wildcard DNS. Once the domain is located, the domain retrieval system forwards the domain to the user computer.

Lightweight audio system for automotive applications and method

A lightweight radio / CD player for vehicular application is virtually “fastenerless” and includes a case and frontal interface formed of polymer based material that is molded to provide details to accept audio devices such as playback mechanisms (if desired) and radio receivers, as well as the circuit boards required for electrical control and display. The case and frontal interface are of composite structure, including an insert molded electrically conductive wire mesh screen that has been pre-formed to contour with the molding operation. The wire mesh provides EMC, RFI, BCI and ESD shielding and grounding of the circuit boards via exposed wire mesh pads and adjacent ground clips. The PCB architecture is bifurcated into a first board carrying common circuit components in a surface mount configuration suitable for high volume production, and a second board carrying application specific circuit components in a wave soldered stick mount configuration. The major components and subassemblies are self-fixturing during the final assembly process, eliminating the need for dedicated tools, fixtures and assembly equipment. The major components and subassemblies self-interconnect by integral guide and connection features effecting “slide lock” and “snap lock” self-interconnection. The radio architecture includes improved push buttons employing 4-bar living hinge linkage and front loaded decorative trim buttons.

TCP/IP Stack-Based Operating System

Systems and corresponding methods include a system having an operating system based wholly around a protocol stack, such as a Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) stack. The system may include a central processing unit (CPU) including the operating system embedded therein, and a network interface coupled with a network and the CPU. The network may be the Internet. The operating system is fundamentally a state machine. The kernel of the operating system is fundamentally just a protocol stack for communicating with one or more devices of the network via the network interface. The protocol stack may be a TCP / IP protocol stack, UDP / IP stack or combinations thereof. A chip may be provided that includes the TCP / IP stack state machine-based operating system embedded in a CPU. The resultant chip may be ultra low power, miniscule in size, and IP-centric.

Lightweight audio system for automotive applications and method

A lightweight radio / CD player for vehicular application is virtually “fastenerless” and includes a fold-up case formed of polymer based material that is molded to provide details to accept audio devices such as playback mechanisms (if desired) and radio receivers, as well as the circuit boards required for electrical control and display. The case is of composite structure, including an insert molded electrically conductive wire mesh screen that has been pre-formed to contour with the molding operation. The wire mesh provides EMC, RFI, BCI and ESD shielding and grounding of the circuit boards via exposed wire mesh pads and adjacent ground clips. Side wall closure members are extruded of aluminum defining self-engaging attachment features for affixing to the case, providing electrical self-grounding with the wire screen and thermal grounding with internal power devices. The major components and subassemblies are self-fixturing during the final assembly process, eliminating the need for dedicated tools, fixtures and assembly equipment. The major components and subassemblies self-interconnect by integral guide and connection features effecting “slide lock” and “snap lock” self-interconnection.

Methods and systems for customer validation using an indentification document and/or one or more pins

The present invention provides systems and methods for remote authorization of fuel dispensing and authorization or confirmation of participation in frequent shopper programs, club memberships, and the like. In one embodiment, identification documents may be used as membership cards for a retailer's membership or frequent shopper program. In another embodiment, an identification may be a membership card to gain access to a retailer. In another aspect, an identification document may be coupled with one or more PINs to validate a customer, or alternatively, the one or more PINs can be used instead of the identification document to validate a customer.

Rinse-free closestool for separating excrement from urine and respectively recycling excrement and urine

The invention discloses a rinse-free closestool for separating excrement from urine and respectively recycling excrement and urine. The rinse-free closestool comprises a seat shell (1) and a seat shell cover (2) and is characterized in that a bottom opening of the seat shell (1) is connected to an excrement and urine separator (3) which is connected to a urine treating tank (5) through a urine collection pipeline (4), an excrement fermentation treating box (6) is connected to the rear part of the excrement and urine separator (3), a gas purification box (7) is connected to the upper part of the excrement and urine separator (3) so that the excrement and the urine are separated and utilized after being treated. The closestool has the advantages that: the aims of water saving, energy saving, no pollution, less investment and certain social benefits can be realized as the rinse is free, the excrement and the urine are respectively treated by adopting a fermented and non-polluted way and respectively utilized, and treating devices are not added; meanwhile, the treated excrement materials are directly prepared into fertilizers, and a part of cost can be reclaimed, therefore, the community benefits are increased; and the use is convenient as microcomputer program control is adopted. The invention can be widely used in community-based residential buildings.
