The invention discloses a low-energy-consumption low-carbon-emission economical energy-saving urban sewage treatment method. The method comprises the steps that: 1, the to-be-treated wastewater is collected by a sewage pipe network and then is filtered by lattices, and is lifted by a pump to enter a pulse water distribution pot of a novel efficient turn-back anaerobic biochemical pool (ABR); 2, the swage subjected to the treatment in step 1 flows into a circulation-flow biological oxidization pool; 3 the effluent water from the step 2 flows into an artificial reinforced biological contact oxidization pool reconstructed by a water body from natural tunnels and reservoirs; and 4, the effluent water from the step 2 or the step 3 flows into constructed wetlands. After the sewage is treated by the above steps, the most pollutants in the water are effectively removed and the treated effluent water reaches the standard first-grade A in GB 18918-2002 ''Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal sewage treatment plant''. The energy-saving sewage treatment purification process with low cost, low energy consumption, low carbon emission and low operating cost is particularly suitable for the sewage treatment in small towns or rural areas.

Composite tile systems and methods are disclosed. Embodiments of this disclosure can comprise a composite floor tile having a ceramic upper layer with one or more reinforcing layers. The reinforcing layer or layers can comprise a reinforcing material, such as fiberglass, and an adhesive. An under layer can be disposed under, or integrated with, the reinforcing layer, and can comprise a ceramic or a polymer laminate. A bottom layer can comprise a pressure sensitive adhesive, or other adhering system, that attaches to various substrates. Embodiments of this disclosure can improve ease of installation of tile, improve strength of tile, and reduce the weight of tile, among other advantages.

The present invention describes a specialized exercise apparatus and method for use that targets the muscles in and around the abdominal, oblique muscles and mid section of the body. The machine is comprised of a flat platform upon which an individual stands while grasping a pair of handlebars that are positioned at waist height. The handle bars are attached to the top of a vertical riser that extends downwardly and is attached to a pair of horizontal rotating pivot arms. The pivot arms are attached to the center of a rotating power pulley horizontally suspended by bearings below the forward area of said platform. The power pulley is connected by a belt to a resistance mechanism, such as a flywheel or turbine fan, again suspended by bearings, below the rear portion of said platform. In the flywheel adaptation of this invention, additional resistance is provided by an adjustable magnet that is controlled by a lever mounted to the side of the vertical riser. An individual stands upon the apparatus, and while keeping the lower body relatively stationary, rotates the handle bars, and thus the pivot arms, from side to side up to 220 degrees of rotation and provides an adjustable measure of resistance which produces an increased use of the muscles in and around an individual's torso and midsection area.
