The invention relates to a glass kettle, a capacitive
water level detection device and a method thereof. The
capacitance type
water level detection device comprises a high
water level induction disc,a low water level induction disc and a
capacitance detection circuit board, the high water level induction disc and the low water level induction disc are two conductive films which are fixedly arranged on the outer wall of the glass kettle body and correspond to a high water
level line and a low water
level line respectively; the
capacitance detection circuit board is arranged on a
chassis of theglass kettle body and is electrically connected with a
single chip microcomputer of the glass kettle and is provided with a touch sensing
chip, the high water level induction disc and the low water level induction disc are electrically connected to two induction input ports of the touch induction
chip respectively; the capacitance detection circuit board detects a capacitance value through the two induction input ports and compares the capacitance value with a preset no-water capacitance value interval and a preset water capacitance value interval in the single-
chip microcomputer or the touchinduction chip, and therefore whether the water level of the glass kettle reaches a high-low water
level line is judged. The glass kettle is simple in structure and convenient to disassemble and assemble, non-contact detection is adopted, and safety is high.
