The projections at either the forward or rear side have laterally extending posts or dowels at one side of each projection, each with a length that extends through only part of the width of the gap between adjacent projections. In the opposite set of projections are holes, similar to the aligned holes that are present when module rows are connected by rods. With the projections being tapered, modules of adjacent rows can be put together by interdigiting the projections with the modules of adjacent rows held at an angle, preferably an acute angle beyond 90°. When the modules are brought back toward alignment to a common plane, the pivot posts of one module become locked in the holes of the module of the adjacent row.

The simulation ice plate is characterized by being prepared from the following materials in parts by weight: 80 to 100 parts of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene, 0.3 to 2 parts of coupling agent, 1 to 3 parts of lubricating agent, 5 to 20 parts of glass microbeads or talcum powder, 0.003 to 0.02 part of fluorescent whitening agent, 0.4 to 1 part of ultraviolet light absorber, 0.1 to 0.2 part of antioxidant, 0.2 to 1 part of lubricating agent microbeads, 0.1 to 0.5 part of mineral oil microbeads and 0.7 to 2 parts of nucleating agent, wherein the lubricating agent microbeads are micro-nano polyethylene wax solid microbeads prepared by an electrospinning process; the glass microbeads and the nucleating agent are microcapsules covering organic matters outside inorganic matters prepared by a spray drying method; the simulation ice plate is easy to machine and mold, and has superior friction and abrasion performance; by adopting the composition, the heat resistance, impact resistance, weather resistance and size stability are improved, a superior performance cost ratio is achieved, the abrasion resistance is improved greatly, and the application range of an ultrahigh molecular polyethylene material, especially the application on the simulation ice plate, is extended greatly.
