Split and merge design flow concept for fast turnaround time of circuit layout design

A method and system is disclosed to improve the turnaround time to provide adequate time to meet project schedules in the event that adjustments or modifications to the design are necessary. A method for improving a turnaround time for design verification of a process database representing a semiconductor design includes the steps of (a) deriving a timing database and a (DNE) database from the process database; (b) performing, using the timing database, one or more design changes and one or more timing verifications and corrections to generate a modified timing database; (c) initiating, using the process database, physical validation of the semiconductor design prior to completion of step (b) to generate a modified DNE database; (d) merging the modified timing database with the modified DNE database to form a modified process database; and (e) performing, using the modified process database, one or more design verification checks of the semiconductor design.

Method and System for Retrieving Diagnostic Information

A system, method, and apparatus for retrieving trouble codes from an equipment under diagnosis and retrieving only relevant diagnostic information relative to the returned codes from one or more remote diagnostic libraries. An electronic diagnostic library contains diagnostic vehicle information tagged with trouble code identification ID's at a first location, and a diagnostic tool at a second location requests only relevant diagnostic information from the electronic library that is tagged with trouble code identification ID's corresponding to the retrieved trouble codes and information identifying the equipment under diagnosis. The diagnostic tool receives the specific diagnostic vehicle information at the first location and may store the specific vehicle information locally prior to displaying an index to the information to a repair technician.

System and method for noninvasive electrocardiographic imaging (ECGI)

Noninvasive systems and methods are provided for determining electrical activity for a heart of a living being. A processor is configured to meshlessly compute data that represents heart electrical activity from a set of noninvasively measured body surface electrical potentials. This is accomplished using data that describes a geometric relationship between a plurality of locations corresponding to where the body surface electrical potentials were measured and the heart.

System and Method for Fast Initial and Incremental Deployment of Apps

A system and method for deploying user apps to user devices is disclosed. A service module on a host system maintains class files of the user app within an original archive, and creates an install agent archive and a modified user app archive from the original archive. In some embodiments, the service module deploys an install agent from the install agent archive and a runtime agent of the modified user app archive to the user device. In other embodiments, the install agent and the runtime agent are pre-installed within a virtual machine of the user device. The install agent receives the class files from the service module, and the runtime agent loads and executes the class files to deploy the user app on the user device. In a preferred embodiment, the system enables faster initial deployment and redeployment of user apps on Android user devices than current systems and methods.

Serviceability framework for an autonomic data centre

There is provided a data processing system-implemented method, system and an article of manufacture for providing a serviceability framework for autonomic resource management in a computer data centre. The data centre is monitored based on a logical representation (model) in the serviceability framework representative of the actual physical devices. The data centre logical model is constantly synchronized with the physical devices of the actual data centre where inconsistencies occur, and fast reporting is required before more problems occur. Monitoring agents associated with all the data centre devices are implemented to quickly identify and deal with problems before human intervention is required. A data centre health monitor is capable of detecting the malfunctions of typical devices and sub-systems in the data centre. For problems or failures that require drastic steps, the subsystem may be isolated and then interrogated separately from the rest of the data centre. Interruptions may be avoided by cloning a designated portion of the data centre systems for off-line trouble-shooting, thereby saving the systems from shutting down totally. A robust set of messages and trace logs including current operational status and health of the data centre may be provided for further diagnostic problem determination.

Local coloring for hierarchical opc

A method for designing a mask for fabricating an integrated circuit is provided wherein a mask layout that requires coloring, such as for alternating phase shift, double-exposure and double-exposure-etch masks, is organized into uncolored hierarchical design units. Prior to modification by OPC, each hierarchical design unit is locally colored. OPC is then performed on the locally colored hierarchical design unit. The local coloring information for the hierarchically arranged OPC-modified design unit may be discarded. After OPC modification, the uncolored OPC-modified design units may be placed within the mask layout, and the flattened data may be colored. Thus, turnaround time for mask design is significantly improved since the numerically intensive OPC is performed on the hierarchical data, avoiding the need to perform OPC on flattened data, whereas the less intensive global coloring is performed on flattened data.

The invention discloses a standardized cold box system for cold-chain transportation and a cold-chain transportation method. The standardized cold box system comprises first-stage cold boxes, second-stage cold boxes and third-stage cold boxes. The external dimension of the two or four second-stage cold boxes is identical to that of one first-stage cold box after the two or four second-stage cold boxes are spliced. The dimension of the second-stage cold boxes has a diploid relation with that of the third-stage cold boxes, and the external dimension of one second-stage cold box is identical to that of a set number of third-stage cold boxes after the third-stage cold boxes are spliced. The first-stage cold boxes are used for main transport or branch transport of major clients. The second-stage cold boxes are used for branch transport or end distribution of small and medium-sized clients, or the second-stage cold boxes are used for main transport after being spliced. The third-stage cold boxes are used for end distribution of individual small clients or branch transport after being spliced. The needed cold box dimension is selected according to the quantity of cargoes to be transported and the categories of the cargoes, the different kinds of cargoes are placed into the cold boxes of different dimensions for spliced transportation, the freshness of various kinds of products can be improved, and the cargo distribution efficiency can also be improved.
